Pike Place Market/ Seattle
While visiting Seattle we stayed at the Inn at the Market. I would highly recommend this hotel. Not only is the location perfect for the Pike Place Market, you are walking distant to the Seattle Museum, shopping and fine restaurants. The views are spectacular on the waterside rooms. Boise Hotel
Boise is not known for glamorous hotels. Your best bet is Hotel 43, a boutique little gem set on a quiet side street in the center of town. Checkout the adjoining Chandler's steakhouse, a fashionable urban scene with live jazz on most evenings.

Cat Skiing
Checkout Grand Targhee's cat skiing operation. Big fun, deep snow and the base area's restaurants/bars are impressive.

British Columbia
While traveling up the Sunshine Coast, North of Vancouver, make sure you visit the West Coast Wilderness Lodge. The dining room has the most spectacular view and the food is exceptional.
