Nature’s gallery unfolds on the beach with tidepools rich with marine life such as anemones, barnacles, crabs and seastars, plus over 2,000 seabirds nest on Haystack Rock each year.
Arch Cape is best described as quaint. Sporting a deli and post office this seaside hideaway is nestled along a serene coastline 4 miles south of Cannon Beach. A pocket community tucked between Hug Point Sate Park and Oswald State Park with an enclave of well tended vacation homes offers a peaceful retreat from the city.

Actually a trio of villages make up the community – Manzanita on the beach, Nehalem on the river and Wheeler on the bay. Most of the interest lies in the vast recreational and outdoor activities.
