Crater Lake National Park surrounds the deepest lake in the U.S. The cobalt-blue Crater Lake, created by an eruption over 7000 years ago, reaches its deepest point at 1,923 feet! The geological wonderland offers 90 miles of trails, scenic overlooks and a beautiful lodge.
Ashland's famous Shakespeare Festival draws nearly 350,000 patrons staging performances from February through November that comprise of classic and contemporary playwrights. Ashland is a small-college town set in pleasant ranch country where you will find several fine galleries, museums, wineries, numerous small inns and an appealing choice of hearty and refined restaurants.
