The Rose Garden Suite

Fairholme Manor owner, Sylvia Main, recently published a cookbook displaying her famous breakfasts and their recpies. Guest here delight in her delicious fare served in the inns bright and sunny dining room, or el fresco under their covered porch. Ingredients are carefully chosen from the inns own organic gardens, or from local farms. Chilled orange juice, homemade maple cranberry granola or cereal, a variety of fresh fruits, French Vanilla yogurt and daily fresh baked goods(scones, muffins or cinnamon buns) served with homemade jams are followed with a hot entree. Torrefzione Italia and Caffee Umbria coffees, and a variety of specialty teas accompany.

The Royal British Columbia Museum, Imax Theatre, Helmcken House, Harbour tours, and Edwardian Tea at Victoria's landmark Point Ellice House, as well as walking along the Inner Harbour, by the Parliament Buildings and stepping into the Empress Hotel for English Tea. Butchard Gardens, and its nearby Butterfly Farm, are about a 20 minute drive from downtown Victoria.
