European country furnishings and attention to detail define the comfort afforded each of Knob Hill Inn's twenty six graciously appointed rooms and suites. Choose from a lavish suite, fireplace room or comfortable bedroom. All accommodations have a wet bar, dressing area, marble-tiled bathroom with tub and separate shower. Glass doors open to a balcony with breathtaking views of the spectacular mountain peaks.
ROOMS WITH KING BEDS- These rooms are furnished with king -sized beds, sofas and chairs and have marble-tiled baths, wet bars (with complimentary juices & sodas) and balconies with mountain views. They are approximately 450 square feet in size. There are fourteen King rooms located on the second, third and fourth floors.
ROOMS WITH 2 TWIN BEDS- Similar to the King rooms, except that the twin beds share a headboard and sit next to each other. These rooms are approximately 500 square feet in size and can accommodate a third twin bed if necessary. There are four twin rooms, located on the third and fourth floors.
ROOMS WITH FIREPLACES- Larger than the King or Twin rooms, but also with a king-sized bed, these rooms feature a wood burning fireplace and a sitting area within the bedroom. They are approximately 600 square feet in size. There are four Fireplace rooms located on the second and third floors.
THE SUITE- Suites have separate bedrooms furnished with king-sized beds and living rooms with wood burning fireplace, two TVs and two phones, large bathrooms with double sinks and oversized tubs with separate showers. Both the bedrooms and the living rooms have mountain views and open onto the balcony. The suites are approximately 800 square feet in size. There are two suites, one on each of the second and third floors.
THE PENTHOUSE- Our two largest rooms, located on the fourth floor offer all the amenities of the suites, plus special touches unique to their larger floor plans. The views of mountains are spectacular, and they total nearly 1000 square feet of comfortable living space. |

The Knob Hill Inn offers unparalleled cuisine, impeccable service and dining in comfortable sophistication. The traditional European décor at the Inn features a beautiful deck overlooking vibrant gardens filled with fresh herbs and mountain flowers. Fine linens, china and crystal enhance the professional service of a dedicated staff.
Chef Paul Dean's unique menu has an American Fusion emphasis, with a dining experience we're calling "Food and Wine for the Times". The entrees are offered as "tasting" courses for the adventurous or lighter diner, and you can build your own pre-fixe dinner to suit your mood. Our produce is grown on Chef Paul's Shady Lane Farm and picked daily, garden fresh.
The wine list is hand selected, providing a balanced variety of exciting regional wines and the best of old world vintages. Champagnes figure prominently on the list at the Inn. An extensive by-the-glass offering encourages perfect pairings with each course.

The Sun Valley area boasts nearly one million acres of surrounding forests, wilderness and recreation possibilities from heli-skiing to rafting the rapids of the Salmon River.
In winter, skiing of every kind is happening: alpine, telemark, snowboarding with half pipe on Baldy and state of the art novice on Dollar. Nordic paths are extensive from Sun Valley to Galena Pass. Snow shoeing paths weave through Sun Valley as well as the many open spaces throughout the surrounding area. Ice Skating is year-round at the Sun Valley Lodge with the Summer Ice Shows drawing stars to perform. Summer sports are extensive from hiking through teeming fields of wildflowers on Bald Mountain to endless wilderness hikes, to the thirty paved miles of bike trails that draw joggers, roller bladers, tricyclists and strollers. Mountain biking, road biking, fly fishing, golfing on award winning courses, The Sun Valley Wine Auction, Car Auction, art festivals, Shakespeare on the Lawn and The Sun Valley Summer Symphony draw during the summer months with The Jazz Festival drawing enthusiasts each Fall. The galleries, shopping and dining are outstanding and attract visitors and locals year-round.
