Dining at Grand Targhee serves up a variety of fare at reasonable prices. For a most memorable experience, try our flagship restaurant, the Branding Iron Grille. For a quick bite, grab a snack from Snorkel’s or Wild Bill’s Grille, our full service cafeteria, all within a few feet of the Dreamcatcher Express lift. Après ski at Grand Targhee is more than dining – it’s an event. The Trap Bar & Grille is home to great food, spirits and local entertainment in a casual atmosphere.
Branding Iron Grille
The flagship of Grand Targhee dining is the Branding Iron Grille and Watering Hole. Offering fine slopeside dining from sunrise to moonrise, food is prepared with inspiration, genuinely friendly service and intimate ambiance. We offer great steaks, but that is only part of the picture. Local and imported game, pastas and unique and wonderfully upscale dishes fill out the rest of the story. Compliment your meal with a glass of wine, a microbrew (2 draft beers on tap) or a cocktail, and don't forget about our delicious desserts.
Hours of Operation:11am-9:00pm weekdays, 7:30am-9pm weekends (breakfast is ala carte on weekends)
Snorkel's Cafe
Snorkel's is located at the epicenter of the village scene, steps from the Dreamcatcher Express lift. Begin with a Liftline Breakfast Burrito and a double espresso. We also proudly serve Starbucks Coffee. Lunch switches to deli mode with homemade soups and chili, panini breads and wraps to compliment your favorite conventional deli selections. Multiple drinks are available. This is a family friendly place and a good place for a hot cocoa stop as you come off the tubing hill.
Winter Hours of Operation:7am-4pm daily
Wild Bill's Grille
What is a ski resort without a day lodge cafeteria? Ours is Wild Bill's Grille but no canned chili here. Standouts are the South of the Border offerings expertly prepared by Chef "Nacho" and the best salad bar ever. "Nacho" brought the true flavor of Mexico to the Tetons back in 1988 and opened Targhee's fist authentic Mexican Restaurant and our guests were hooked.
Trap Bar & Grille
The world famous Trap Bar and Grille is a must-see and not just for apres ski. Our new and improved Pubistro menu has received nothing but rave reviews. The Trap is home to sports TV's, live music, fully stocked bar, 12 hot drinks, 11 taps, 6 tequilas and our yummy signature drink the Targhini, a lovely frosty libation featuring local huckleberries. During the winter months, don't miss NFL Sunday Football at the Trap. Come for the skiing and stay for the foots. We have the NFL Sunday Package, and if you haven't seen our 8 NEW FLAT PANEL TVs or heard our NEW SOUND SYSTEM, prepare to be blown away!
Winter Hours of Operation: Open daily at 11:00am. Kitchen closes at 7pm. Live music may also be offered during the weekend for Apres skiing.
Powder Mountain Pizza
There's nothing better than a slice of Targhee's mouth watering Powder Mountain Pizza after a day on the slopes! Choose from our traditional or specialty pizzas or calzones, strombolis, pasta and/or salad! |
