Northwest style, and views of Swinomish Channel from nearly every room make this a truly memorable lodge. Located just steps from shops, art galleries, museums & the heart of downtown, this cozy gem is sure to please visitors. Here you can enjoy the beauty of the Swinomish Channel and the wonder of Rainbow Bridge. A flagstone entry, woodsy garden, cedar-shake siding, and a river-rock fireplace in the lobby set the tone for the entire lodge. The lobby, with its small library alcove, has the sort of nautical feel you’d expect to find in a home built by a ship’s captain 100 years ago. It boasts a fantastic grand piano, and hosts a complimentary wine and cheese reception with live music early evenings each weekend. |

The Lodge's restaurant - Nell Thorn - is located just a few blocks at the La Conner Country Inn, a sister property. The restaurants vision is to create a gourmet dining experience that is new and exciting but at the same time tickles your memory and lights your imagination. The purest form of this gourmet restaurant's vision is in their bread. The organic flour already smells of a fresh loaf when you open a sack. This flour is mixed with water and allowed to ferment gathering the wild yeast and finally baked to yield a moist, crispy-crusted bread.
Nell Thorn strives to use only organically grown produce to bring you more flavor and to support the vibrancy of the soil. Their sea creatures are wild and the poultry is free to roam eating a healthy diet. |
