The tradition at Amoré is elegantly presented breakfasts year-round. This year Amoré by the Sea was voted 'Best Breakfast in Canada' for the '2005 Book of Lists' by Inn Traveler Magazine!
A full 3 course breakfast is served at 8:30 am each morning, or for those who prefer a later time, a lighter breakfast is served from 9:00 to 10:00 am upon request. Both styles are presented with casual elegance in the dining room overlooking the ocean and offer the opportunity to converse with travelers from all over the world. The food is always healthy and hearty with great care taken in presentation. There is nothing like good food to bring people together!

Amoré is situated on high bank oceanfront. Stairs lead to private beach access where Amoré guests can enjoy combing the beach for treasures and watching the abundant wildlife that's ever-present. Eagles regularly soar overhead with seals and otters visible almost daily. Occasionally, a pod of orca whales can be spotted in the bay while many varieties of waterfowl are constantly feeding in the ocean.

Driving Instructions From Nanaimo:
Amoré by the Sea is approximately 20 minutes' drive from the Inner Harbour area of downtown Victoria.
Directions to Amoré from Downtown:
- Follow Douglas St. North out of Town
- Douglas St. becomes HWY 1 North at Walmart
- Follow HWY 1 North (5km) to Exit 10 (Colwood, Sooke)
- Exit 10 turns into Island Hwy (a.k.a. Sooke Rd
and HWY 14)
- Follow Island Hwy (Sooke Rd) 6km
- Turn left onto Metchosin Rd (1st light after Kelly Rd)
- Follow Metchosin 3 1/2 km. Turn left onto Farhill Rd
- Turn right, follow signs to Albert Head Beach
- Amoré by the Sea is 246 Delgada Rd
