Nimmo Bay can accommodate 2–18 people, depending on the season and type of trip. Individual helicopter or total resort exclusivity is the preferred way to maximize your wilderness experience at Nimmo Bay. Any number of people – to a maximum of 18 guests – can constitute exclusivity. However, with exclusive use of Nimmo Bay, full occupancy rate will apply. Individuals and couples are cordially invited to reserve space with us, as we can create individual, versatile adventure packages. |

Nimmo Bay offers 6 inter-tidal chalets and 3 stream-side chalets. Each inter-tidal chalet has two bedrooms, with queen beds in each. The stream-side chalets also have two bedrooms, with one queen and two twins. All chalets have a full bathroom that includes shower and bath tub and a comfortable lounge/living area set in a panorama of pristine wilderness only British Columbia can provide.

Nimmo Bay's floating Main Lodge is where meals and beverages are served. This structure is highlighted inside with pine and cedar finishings, custom walnut dining tables, supple leather couches, a fine array of musical instruments, and artwork, which is for sale, featuring local artists.
Attached to the lodge is a fully operational floating bakery, where guests can be seen sniffing wildly into the air as sumptuous delights are created before their very eyes.

HELI-fISHING is for anyone who wants to participate in the most unbelievable spin fishing or fly fishing adventure of a lifetime. No longer is anyone "retired" from fishing. Mountains are mere hurdles for your magic carpet. You can fly out of the rain, and, if the bite goes off, you simply move to another fishing paradise, more beautiful and productive than the one you just left. Each river is alive with fish and there are dozens of rivers to choose from as your pilot/guide takes you throughout 30,000 square miles, from sea level up to seven thousand feet. Depending on angler's skill, each day can see you catching (and releasing) upwards of 20 fish.

By paying the rate for a group of 18 you have exclusive use of the entire resort.

Luggage Restrictions:
The 25lb luggage allowance can be exceeded. However, guests will be charged an extra fee to have bags transported to Nimmo Bay Resort from Port Hardy airport.
Libation
Included in your Nimmo Bay package are the beer, soft drinks, and water in your cabin's mini fridge; beer, soft drinks and water in the pool hall; the beer and wine served at lunch; the beer and white and red house wines with dinner; and mixed drinks at the bar.
Not included are specialty alcoholic beverages from the bar and the specialty wines paired with dinner entrees and desserts by our chef.
The Fine Print
A-Star helicopters accommodate 6 guests maximum.
Jet Ranger helicopters accommodate 2 guests maximum.
Helicopters stay with guests all day.
All trips are 3, 4 or 7 days (except specialty and day trips)
Bank transfers, cashiers' cheques or certified cheques are accepted as payment.
All prices are in Canadian Dollars.
A 50% deposit is required to confirm your reservation. (Guaranteed helicopter availability necessitates this policy.)
Final trip payment is due 60 days prior to arrival and is non-refundable
Gratuities, massage, fishing licenses taxes and specialty beverages are not included in the price of the trip
Guests are responsible for transportation to Port Hardy.
Nimmo Bay makes every effort to exceed your trip expectations. We are not responsible for any changes in format or cancellations due to weather and/or unforseeable circumstances.

Weights & Balances:
To maximize your flying experience and for the safety and comfort of all guests in an A star helicopter, internal group weights exceeding acceptable limits (based on a 6 person occupancy) will require an additional helicopter or an additional seat payment, at the guests expense. It is mandatory that our office receives guest weights at least 90 days prior to arrival. Again, this is for guest comfort and safety.
Cancellation Policy
A 50% deposit is required to secure a reservation. The balance of payment is due 60 days before arrival. Bookings received less than 60 days before the reservation date require full pre-payment. Cancellations received more than 90 days before arrival will result in a 25% penalty on the deposit, with the balance of the deposit being put toward a future booking within a 12 month period, depending upon available space. Cancellations received between 60 and 90 days before arrival will result in a 50% penalty on the deposit, with the balance of the deposit being put toward a future booking within a 12 month period, depending upon available space. There are no refunds of deposit or final balance if the cancellation is received less than 60 days before arrival.
