A delicious full two-course breakfast is served in our formal dining room from 8:30-9:30am Monday-Saturday, and from 9-10am on Sundays. The first course features fruit and pastry. The second course offers a meat-free egg dish and two side dishes. One of the side dishes is usually bacon, ham or sausage; the other side dish is meat-free. Coffee is available in the kitchen starting at 6:30am.
Light refreshments are available in the Dining Room in the afternoon and evening, a more formal tea is available upon request. Soft drinks, juice, spring water and whole fruit are complimentary.

We are a short 20 - 30 minute drive from the airport (towards downtown) or you can take the MAX light rail. The Lion and the Rose is very conveniently located in the northeastern part of central Portland in the Historic Irvington District, near the The Lloyd Center, the Oregon Convention Center, the Rose Garden arena and downtown Portland. Restaurants, shops, boutiques, theatres, and public transit, are all within easy walking distance. |

DRIVING FROM THE AIRPORT (20 - 30 minutes in the direction of Downtown Portland): Take Airport Way and follow the signs to Portland, I-205 South, then take Portland I-84 West. Take the Lloyd Blvd. exit (Exit 1). As you exit, keep to the right and turn onto NE 13th Ave. Go one block North (toward the Lloyd Center Mall) and turn right onto Multnomah. At the 2nd stop light turn left onto NE 16th. Ave. NE 16th will curve and become NE 15th Ave. - our street. Stay in the right lane and go straight on NE 15th across Weidler and Broadway. We are one block North of Broadway - the large blue Victorian on your right at the NE corner of NE 15th and NE Schuyler (pronounced "Sky-ler").

Turn onto Weidler (a one-way, East-bound street at this point) and continue to NE 15th.Ave. Turn left on NE 15th Ave. (our street) and go across Broadway. We are one block North of Broadway - the large blue Victorian on your right at the corner of NE 15th and NE Schuyler (pronounced "Sky-ler").
