Vancouver is one of the most beautiful cities in the world, and the English Bay Inn is right in the heart of it.The downtown core and the residential West End are located on a peninsula that separates English Bay from the harbour on Burrard Inlet. At the tip of the peninsula is Stanley Park, one of the largest urban parks in the world. Mostly old growth temperate rain forest, the park also houses a world class aquarium, soccer, cricket and other playing fields, dozens of tennis courts and a pitch & putt golf course. The park is just one block from the Inn.One block from the Inn in the other direction is English Bay Beach, one of three beaches within walking distance of the Inn. Second Beach Pool, with a capacity of 2,300 people, is located minutes away and is a great place to swim or just soak up the sun.Still, the cosmopolitan energy of Vancouver’s downtown is only blocks away |
